How to prepare for your colonoscopy using Suprep

What can I expect? :

Five Days before your procedure

Please stop eating corn, nuts, seeds, beans, and any vitamins or supplements with iron.

🎥 Make sure to watch our Suprep Preparation Video! It will give you step-by-step instructions on how to properly prep for your upcoming procedure.

The Day before your procedure

You may have clear liquids only.

DO NOT HAVE ANY FOOD, CREAM, OR MILK PRODUCTS.

🚫 NO candy or gum, as well as refrain from smoking, vaping, and using any tobacco products, illicit drugs, or cannabis, including medical cannabis.

If you consume any of these after midnight, it will result in having to reschedule your exam.

* Remember it is important to drink plenty of clear liquids before and during the colon prep process to properly prepare for your exam.

The Night Before your procedure

At 6 pm, take one antinausea pill.

Then open the Suprep box. You will find 2 bottles and a plastic cup.

Pour one of the bottles into the cup, add water until you reach the fill line on the cup, and drink it.

After you drink the cup of laxative, follow it with 32 oz of a clear liquid in one hour.

After you finish the 32 oz, you may maintain clear liquids until midnight as tolerated.

The Morning of your procedure

At the time given to you by our staff pour the second bottle into the cup, add water until you reach the fill line on the cup, and drink it.

Once you finished the 32 oz, it is nothing to eat or drink until after your procedure.
